If you glance over at the left margin, you'll see a thumbnail of my new book, Rethinking Worldview, along with a link to the description (with a pre-order option, of all things). The book is coming out from Crossway this October, so don't be surprised if I bring it up from time to time, slyly slipping the title into discussions of seemingly unrelated matters. Since late last year, I've been updating the Worldview page of this site with information about the book, including some endorsements which have recently come in.

Interested in the book? Here's the description from Crossway's site:
Everyone has a worldview. How did we get it? How is it formed? Is it possible by persuasion and logic to change one's worldview?

In Rethinking Worldview, writer and worldview teacher J. Mark Bertrand has a threefold aim. First, he seeks to capture a more complex, nuanced appreciation of what worldviews really are. Then he situates worldviews in the larger context of a lived faith. Finally, he explores the organic connections between worldview and wisdom and how they are expressed in witness.

Bertrand's work reads like a conversation, peppered with anecdotes and thought-provoking questions that push readers to continue thinking and talking long after they have put the book down. Thoughtful readers interested in theology, philosophy, and culture will be motivated to rethink their own perspectives on the nature of reality, as well as to rethink the concept of worldviews itself.
Naturally, you're invited to spread the word, and if you feel the urge to pre-order a thousand copies for you and nine hundred ninety-nine of your closest friends, you're invited to do that, too. I'm grateful to my friends at Crossway for believing in the book, to the endorsers for kindly recommending it, and to my colleagues at Worldview Academy for encouraging me to write it.
